Custom · Inquiry-Based · Rooted in Local Protocol

Indigenous Cultural Welcoming experiences that honour the lands, Nations, and protocols of the places we are home to.

These gatherings are designed to mark moments of arrival, opening, and intention; whether welcoming participants to an event, conference, learning space, or shared place.

Each welcoming is grounded in relationship to land and Nation, and is offered with care, clarity, and respect for cultural boundaries. This is not a performance, but a meaningful opening that situates people in place and purpose.

What to Expect

A Cultural Welcoming may include spoken welcome, story, song, or protocol, depending on the location, context, and the Nations represented by our Cultural Land Ambassadors.

Welcomings are adapted to suit the setting, from small gatherings to large conferences and public events; and are delivered in a way that is accessible, respectful, and appropriate to the space. We work closely with organizers in advance to ensure the welcoming aligns with the tone, timing, and intention of the event.

Where We Meet & Location Options

Cultural Welcoming experiences are offered by request and are hosted at locations determined through the planning process.

Welcomings are available within the territories and Nations represented by our Cultural Land Ambassadors. This may include conference venues, outdoor spaces, community sites, and event locations across Talaysay Tours’ home regions.

Because these experiences are rooted in place, all locations are reviewed in advance to ensure cultural appropriateness, access permissions, and logistical readiness.

Group Size & Capacity

Cultural Welcoming experiences can be offered to a wide range of group sizes, from small gatherings to large audiences.

We are experienced in hosting welcomings for conferences, ceremonies, public events, and institutional gatherings, including stage-based presentations. Group size, format, and staffing are planned carefully to ensure the experience remains grounded, respectful, and well supported.
