About the Paddle Centre

The Talaysay Paddle Centre at Porpoise Bay Provincial Park is a homecoming.

Talaysay Tours began on the water; guiding paddlers through the inlets, estuaries, and stories of the Salish Sea. In time, our work shifted to walking tours on the land, where cedar roots and forest trails helped deepen our connections to culture, community, and place.

Now, we return to the sea.

This centre represents a renewal; a continuation of our journey, shaped by tides and teachings. Located on the traditional and unceded lands of the shíshálh Nation, our Paddle Centre offers seasonal kayak rentals and guided tours that honour the land, the waters, and the ancestors who have always been here.

Whether you’re launching solo or joining a paddle tour, we invite you to come with care, presence, and curiosity. The water will meet you where you are.
