For guests seeking to enjoy Indigenous history, ecology, art and cultural learning from the comfort of home or office.

During these one hour virtual experiences guests will hear our Coast Salish stories, histories, legends and lore as our Talaysay guide connects you to the land.

Rates

  • This online tour will share rich stories and history about the land, while learning how trees and plants are used by Indigenous people for food and medicine.

    12pm - 1pm pst every 2nd Friday

  • This online tour shares our Indigenous peoples’ relationship to the ocean, it’s ecology and stories as well as the early contact and fascinating history of the local people, with oral accounts, not yet in books, of our unique experiences with the explorers, traders, settlers and as well as the current aspects of our tribal communities today.

    3:30pm - 4:30pm pst every second Tuesday

  • This online tour will introduce you to the stories, art and legends of the Salish peoples' who have lived in Vancouver and Stanley Park for thousands of years. Each totem, sculpture, gateway has a distinct story, purpose, legend. The people who carved the Totems, represent a rich and immense diversity with common technological practices and use of the sacred cedar tree.

This experience will take place on Zoom, so guests will need to make sure they have Zoom downloaded well in advance of the webinar.

For all participants to enjoy this on-line tour, we ask that participants be on mute and when we have interactive questions and discussion we will invite you to un-mute your speaker so that we can chat.

We encourage participants to ask questions.

You are welcome to type conversation and or questions in the chat function. Your guide may or may not see the questions while guiding but we will be sure to address them at the end of the tour.

We ask all participants to be respectful and conscientious of language.

Cancellation Protocol

  • Individuals may cancel up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund.

  • Groups may cancel up to 48 hours prior to start time for full refund.
