Paddle Tours - Multi-Day
Sunshine Coast • Guided • Inquiry-Based
Coastal Paddling, Camping & Cultural Learning
Our multi-day paddle tours are immersive, expedition-style journeys shaped by tides, teachings, and time on the land. Designed for small to medium sized groups, these experiences invite participants to travel by water across the Sechelt Inlet and surrounding area; including Hotham Sound and neighbouring coastal water. We camp along the shoreline and engage with stories and learning over multiple days. Each expedition is guided by experienced paddlers and Cultural Land Ambassadors, offering both skill development and space for reflection, relationship, and connection.
Some journeys are slower, contemplative routes; others involve full days on the water covering meaningful distance. Typical travel can range from shorter shoreline segments to 20+ km in a day, depending on route, conditions, and group readiness.
What to Expect
Multi-day paddles include:
Guided paddling with support in technique, safety, and expedition pacing
Shoreline landings, learning stops, and time with the elements
Opportunities for reflection, discussion, and group connection
Camping along the coast, with meals, logistics, and guidance supported
Cultural teachings, ecological insight, and inquiry-based learning
Routes that may involve moderate to significant distance over water
Our guides adjust pace and content based on tides, weather, and group needs. These are weather-responsive experiences shaped in conversation with participants.
Where We Go
All multi-day tours take place on the Sunshine Coast within the Sechelt Inlet and its connected waters, including Hotham Sound and surrounding areas. Routes are selected for their suitability, safety, and learning opportunities, and may vary by season and group capacity.
Final locations, itineraries, and logistics are coordinated during planning to ensure readiness, safe travel, and care for the land and participants.
Is This the Right Experience for You?
Multi-day paddle tours are best suited for:
Guests comfortable being on the water for extended periods
Individuals interested in learning, camping, reflection, and shared travel
Groups prepared for variable weather, teamwork, and expedition-style pacing
People open to both calm days and full paddling days where distance is travelled
No advanced paddling background is required, learning is part of the journey, but participants should arrive ready for outdoor conditions and shared responsibilities.
