Forest Therapy (Bathing)
Lost Lake · Nature Wellness Experience
Step into a slower rhythm and experience the forest through guided sensory awareness.
Forest Therapy, sometimes also known as Forest Bathing, is a guided, nature-based wellness experience that invites guests to slow down, engage their senses, and reconnect with the land through presence, mindfulness, and gentle observation. Rooted in mindfulness, presence, and gentle observation, this experience offers a restorative way to spend time outdoors while being guided with care through a series of invitations designed to support calm, reflection, and connection.
Rather than focusing on distance or physical challenge, Forest Therapy encourages guests to notice the textures, sounds, rhythms, and living presence of the natural world around them. Each experience is shaped by the qualities of the place, the pace of the group, and the simple act of paying attention.
What to Expect
Forest Therapy is a slow, guided outdoor experience centered on sensory awareness, mindfulness, and connection with the land. Guests are invited to move at a gentle pace, with time for quiet observation, reflection, and shared moments of presence along the way.
This is not a hike or interpretive plant tour in the traditional sense. Instead, the experience is designed to support restoration and ease through simple invitations that help guests notice the forest more deeply through sight, sound, texture, scent, and atmosphere.
Guests can expect a supportive and unhurried experience that typically includes:
A gentle welcome and orientation
Slow walking over a short distance
Guided sensory and mindfulness invitations
Moments of quiet reflection
Time to gather, share, and close the experience together
Forest Therapy is suitable for a wide range of guests and is designed to be approachable, calming, and accessible in spirit. Route conditions vary by location, and meeting point details are provided for each experience page.
Where We Meet & Location Options
We meet at Lost Lake Passivhaus, Whistler, at the picnic tables outside the building, located at the base of the trail to Lost Lake.

Paid parking is available at Lot 4, approximately an 8-minute walk from the meeting location. Please allow enough time for parking and walking so the group can begin together.
