Forest Therapy
A guided intentional practice to reconnect with the land for healing and self-discovery
What is Forest
Therapy
Forest Therapy is more than a walk in the woods, it is a practice of presence. Inspired by the Japanese art of shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing,” this gentle, sensory-based experience invites you to slow down and listen; to your breath, your body, and the living world around you.
With every step and pause, you are invited to reconnect with land and self in a way that nourishes the nervous system, soothes the mind, and brings us into deeper relationship with the forest. Guided by certified Forest Therapy guides, each journey is an invitation to explore mindfulness, belonging, and the healing power of nature.
This is not a hike, but a slow, intentional walk, accessible to most mobility levels, where the destination is the moment itself.
What to Expect
Each Forest Therapy experience is unique, shaped by the land, the season, and the people who gather.
We begin with a land acknowledgement and gentle introduction. From there, your guide will offer a series of sensory invitations designed to deepen awareness and connection with the natural world. You’ll be given space to wander, rest, and reflect. No experience is required, just a willingness to be present.
Each session closes with a sharing circle and a small forest tea ceremony, a quiet moment of gratitude and community held in nature.
