Guided Cultural Workshop and Tour

This half-day creative experience blends hands-on workshops with cultural storytelling at the Museum of Vancouver. Your group will explore Indigenous tea blending using plant-based ingredients, create hand-pressed prints using pre-made lino stamps, and enjoy a Spoken Treasures tour in the Joyce Whalley Room. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required. This program is designed to be welcoming, interactive, and inspiring, offering you a unique way to learn, create, and connect with culture through art, stories, and land-based teachings.

Experience Breakdown

  • Indigenous Tea Blending Workshop
    Explore land-based plant knowledge through scent, texture, and flavour while crafting a personal tea blend to take home.

  • Printmaking Activity
    Create prints using pre-carved lino stamp designs, experimenting with composition and expression on high-quality card stock.

  • Spoken Treasures Tour
    A guided storytelling experience exploring themes of identity, land, and culture in the Joyce Whalley Room.

Pricing

This half-day creative program is offered at: $165 per guest.
(If each component were booked separately; Indigenous Tea Blending, Printmaking, and the Spoken Treasures storytelling tour, the total value would be $240 per person.)

Your ticket includes all workshop materials, guided instruction, and access to all three experiences.
