Join us at the shíshálh Nation Longhouse for Day at the Longhouse; a gathering of language, culture, and celebration. Experience storytelling, drumming, and dance shared in the spirit of community, while enjoying Tea & Bannock, sourced from local community vendors.
This special event is a fundraiser supporting the she shashishalhem Team in attending the World Indigenous Education and Language Revitalization Conference in New Zealand (November 2025).

Time: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Includes: Live performances • Tea & Bannock • Cultural celebration
Rates: Adults $59 | Youth $39 (+ GST & booking fees ≈ 8%)
Capacity: 200 seats available
Getting Here
Guests are responsible for their own transportation.
From the Lower Mainland:
Take the BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay → Langdale route (approx. 40 min).
Drive north along Highway 101 (Sunshine Coast Highway) for about 50 minutes toward Sechelt.
Turn right onto Mahlkwun Lane, then follow the loop onto Monkey Tree Lane.
The Longhouse is on the right-hand side.

Parking is available near the Longhouse and adjacent Nation buildings. Please arrive by 1:00 PM for check-in.
