As part of syíyaya Days, join us for a powerful forest walk in Porpoise Bay Provincial Park. s-yíyaya (meaning “relatives” in she shashishalhem) is a celebration of shared history and unity between Indigenous and settler communities on the Sunshine Coast. On this tour, CUltural Land Ambassadors will share ancestral teachings, traditional ecological knowledge, and cultural stories held by the trees. This is not just a walk; it’s an invitation to listen, learn, and reconnect to the land in a spirit of reconciliation and mutual respect
This gentle, slow-paced walk is open to all and offers a unique opportunity to listen deeply to the land and the voices that have long cared for it.

Waivers will be available to sign onsite. Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled.
