Offered at All Locations · Inquiry-based Nature Wellness Experience

Forest Therapy (Bathing) invites guests to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world through a guided sensory immersion.

Rooted in stillness, curiosity, and sensory engagement, Forest Therapy (Bathing) offers an opportunity to step away from busyness and into the rhythms of the natural world. Guests are guided through gentle invitations that encourage slowing down, observing with intention, and experiencing the forest through sight, sound, touch, and breath. This experience nurtures clarity, relaxation, and emotional wellbeing while fostering a renewed sense of connection with the living land.

What to Expect

Guests can expect a slow, guided experience that emphasizes sensory exploration, mindful movement, and quiet reflection. Your guide will offer optional invitations such as grounding exercises, nature-based mindfulness practices, silent walking, sharing moments, or sensory observation activities. The pace is gentle and accessible, with plenty of opportunities to pause, rest, and connect with the environment.

Each session concludes with a closing circle or reflective moment, allowing participants to integrate their experience before returning to daily life. Forest Therapy is not a hike; it is a wellness-centered immersion designed for calm, restoration, and connection.

Every program includes a shared moment of gratitude and conversation, accompanied by a cup of tea, reinforcing learning through connection and care.

Forest Therapy typically has a duration of about 2-2.5 hours.

Where We Meet & Location Options

Forest Therapy (Bathing) is offered across all Talaysay Tours locations, including forested parks, coastal trails, quiet urban green spaces, and other restorative natural environments throughout the Greater Vancouver Area, Sunshine Coast, Sea-to-Sky, and surrounding regions.

We can host sessions at:

  • Established Talaysay tour locations with accessible, low-impact routes

  • Local parks or natural areas near your school or community

  • Custom-requested locations, pending site suitability and access approvals

Meeting points, routes, and accessibility needs are confirmed during the planning process to ensure a supportive, comfortable, and well-prepared experience for all participants. For custom locations or large groups, early inquiries allow us to make thoughtful arrangements regarding staffing, pacing, and care for the land.

Final locations and routes are selected with group size, age range, mobility considerations, and the sensory quality of the space in mind; choosing areas where quiet, presence, and ease can be fully supported.

Group Size & Capacity

Group size and staffing are planned carefully to ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students and supervisors alike.

  • Minimum booking: 10 guests, or base-rate equivalent

  • Typical group size: 10-20 guests

  • Large groups: School groups of 20+ guests may be accommodated with advance notice

  • Maximum capacity: Groups of over 30+ guests may be possible with additional planning and staffing

Large group bookings require additional planning and lead time to ensure a high-quality, well-supported experience. Early inquiries are strongly recommended.
