About swiwelat & x̱enichen

swiwelat

x̱enichen

(pronounced: hun-ee-chen)

A historical shíshálh village located at the head of Jervis Inlet. This was a place of gathering, life, and belonging. Though no longer occupied, its presence is still felt in every ripple of the water and rustle of the trees.
