Our Talaysay Paddle Centre invites you on a monthly 3-day, 2-night ocean paddle adventure into the heart of shíshálh territory. From the sheltered inlets of ḵalpilin to the mountain-framed waters of Salmon sḵúpa, each tour explores a different stretch of coastline, weaving together pristine wilderness with the cultural stories that live in these lands and waters.
Routes shift month to month, guided by tides, weather, and the teachings of the water. Launch points may vary (Sechelt, Porpoise Bay, or other Sunshine Coast sites) and will be confirmed two weeks prior to departure. Whether gliding past the sheer rock faces of the fjords, tracing shorelines rich with intertidal life, or resting on quiet beaches beneath cedar and fir, this is paddling at its most epic and immersive.
