This is a land use planning full-day boat tour from Egmont up lekw’emin to x̱enichen with time to visit swiw̓élat. We’ll travel to the head of the inlet to review current conditions in the area, to share information about the Land Use Plan, and to listen to your input on values about the swiya. There will be time for walking to the river or cultural spiritual activities. We will then make our way back slowly, stopping along the way.

A full-day boat trip through Jervis Inlet and surrounding areas, with stops and discussions along the way.
Q: How long is the trip?
Approximately 8 to 9 hours, with a direct route up to the head of the inlet and a return journey with stops as time allows.
Q: Where do we meet?
Transport will be provided to Egmont where we will depart by boat. Specific meeting instructions will be shared in advance of the tour.
Q: What should I bring?
Please dress in layers and bring a water bottle, personal items, and any medications or comfort items for the day. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Additional snacks welcome.
