Join Talaysay Tours and the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives for a shíshálh historical walking tour through museum, memory, and place. This 75-minute experience shares stories of Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast through Indigenous perspectives, oral history, ancestral memory, and connection to place. By donation to the Museum.

Spoken Treasures at the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives is a community experience, by donation to the Museum, sharing the history of Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast through Indigenous perspectives.

Guided by a Talaysay Cultural Land Ambassador, this experience invites guests to learn through oral history, ancestral memory, museum interpretation, storytelling, and connection to place.

The tour includes time within the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives and explores the stories of this land through a shíshálh lens, connecting local history, cultural continuity, and relationships with the Salish Sea.

This community offering is presented in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives, with tour sponsorship from Sunshine Coast Financial and SuperValu.

This 75-minute historical experience moves through museum, memory, and place, offering guests a deeper way to understand Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast.
