Along the way, guests are invited into stories of plant knowledge, habitat, and relationship, with opportunities to notice the living systems that shape this place and the beings who call it home.
Offered with support from the Sunshine Coast Community Forest, this experience closes by the water with warm bannock, shared in reflection and gratitude as the day begins to soften into evening.
What to Expect
This is a three-hour guided walking experience that follows a moderately paced trail through varied terrain, inviting guests to move with curiosity, presence, and care.

Where We Meet
This experience takes place at Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park in Halfmoon Bay, a stunning coastal setting where forest, freshwater, and ocean meet.
Guests will follow a trail that moves through lush forest and wetland areas before arriving near the shoreline, where the evening closes beside the sea.

This experience includes some uneven ground, natural trail surfaces, and gentle inclines, and is best suited for guests who are comfortable walking outdoors for an extended period.
Please wear good footwear, bring water, and come prepared for changing coastal weather conditions.
This experience runs rain or shine, except in cases of severe weather such as extreme winds.
