"Connected us to relations past and present"

I’ve had the pleasure of having Candace speak to several of the classes I teach now and each time I’m blown away. She is so deeply connected to the land and has such an amazing place specific, historical and present day knowledge of the area.

Candace always checks in to make sure that she is accommodating others and makes everyone feel welcomed and respected. She is also an incredible storyteller and these stories sit with me as true gifts. I have learned so much from these tours and can’t wait to have her back in class again. This tour should be required for all inhabitants of this land, deep thanks Candace for the amazing work that you do!
