Tour Overview

Tour Description:  Explore iconic Stanley Park along the seawall with a local Indigenous cultural ambassador.  A local indigenous member of this region,  your guide will walk with you along the seawall, a 1.1 km walk, while sharing the stories, history and lore of Stanley Park and our great city of Vancouver – through Indigenous eyes.  This tour is for the History Buff, and the one who enjoys stories of our ancient and not so distant past.  This tour includes the deep and powerful connection Salish and Northwest Coast peoples have to the ocean and Salish Sea.

If you do not have a group, you can join the weekly tours offered on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.  Book in advance to secure your spot. All tours operate during rainy days as we embrace the place we know to be a rainforest.

Spoken Treasures Talking Trees Tour

Our group all agreed that this was one of the best tours that we have taken in Vancouver. To listen to the rich history of the Indigenous culture throughout Stanley Park and Candace our Tour Leader spoke with passion and kept our group very engaged throughout the tour.

I would highly recommend going on this tour and you get to enjoy a glass of Authentic Indigenous Tea it was so refreshing!!
